Great Wall was shot in early 2018. It was cold, it was grey, but it was magnificent. This particular shot was taken outside our insanely cool hotel, which had a path to it’s own little section of the wall. We went up each evening before bed and it was really breathtaking to be standing there alone as the sun was going down.

If you have ever walked the Great Wall, you know it can be a workout! The elevation change can be dramatic and this shot was an attempt to capture that. Truly a bucket-list item checked off for me!
