Timbavati Giraffe was captured while visiting South Africa in 2017. My wife and I had done a Safari back in 2015 and have been totally hooked on Africa ever since. To celebrate my father’s retirement, we decided to do a full family trip in 2017 and we lobbied hard for everyone to relive our experience and see South Africa.

The giraffe is truly majestic when you see one in the wild. Their long necks can be spotted when scanning the landscape and because of their height they are usually the first animal you see. It is also particularly special to me, because it was the first animal my Mom spotted while on her first game drive. She immediately burst into tears at the sight. Truly magical!
